Brittany Schambow is the Undergraduate Academic Advisor in the Department of Health Education and Behavior (HEB). A Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES), Ms. Schambow holds a master’s degree in health education and behavior from the University of Florida, as well as a bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and disorders from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

Ms. Schambow oversees the academic counseling process for HEB undergraduate students. This includes, but is not limited to, course scheduling, tracking, probation, career coaching, study abroad and the petition process. Ms. Schambow administers admission decisions for transfer and change of major students. Ms. Schambow attends UF Admissions recruiting functions as the College/Department representative and helps maintain the department website.

Ms. Schambow is a member of several professional organizations including National Eta Sigma Gamma, and the American College Health Association. She served as President and Research Coordinator for the Alpha Lambda Chapter of Eta Sigma Gamma (ESG) from 2015 to 2016, and as a national member from 2014 to 2015.
