Ph.D. candidate Samantha Paige to receive the SOPHE Graduate Student Research Paper Award

Samantha Paige will be receiving the SOPHE Graduate Student Research Paper Award for her article titled, “Mobile Health (mHealth) Literacy Strategies in Smoking Cessation Apps: Implications for Health Education Research and Practice.”  This award is designed to foster quality graduate student research and provide a mechanism by which to recognize outstanding graduate students for creative and innovative research. As the recipient of this award, Samantha will receive a $250 award honorarium and be invited to submit her paper for possible publication in one of SOPHE’s journals, Health Education & Behavior or Health Promotion Practice.
